Challenge

Corporate resource teams wanted an independent opinion on long-term models before the next update.

Problem

The corporate resource team wanted an independent opinion on its long-term model before the next update. The domains and estimation units needed testing, outlier treatment and estimation plans needed validating, and the reconciliation with blasthole data needed an explanation.

Solution

We reviewed the geological domains, estimation units, outliers and contacts, and checked variograms and estimation plans against reference models built on the platform. The review closed with a reconciliation against blasthole data and a site visit.
