01

Challenge

A significant share of plant feed came from stockpiles, with harder ore on the way, and their grades were tracked by hand.

02

Problem

A significant share of plant feed came from stockpiles, and harder ore was on the way, yet stockpile grades were tracked by hand across dispatch, modeling and topography tools. No 3D model updated with every dump and pick-up, and edge dumping and mixing during reclaim were ignored.

03

Solution

We built static and then dynamic stockpile block models from the short-term model, ore-control polygons, fleet management records and daily topography, with explicit rules for floor and edge dumping and for gravity mixing during extraction. The whole chain runs as an automated workflow on the Annapurna platform.

04

Deliverables

The client receives a block model for each stockpile and an automated stockpile workflow, with maintenance, that refreshes as operations move material.
